The most popular system is ExcaVision with three sensors — for boom, stick and bucket. Add the "Laser Receiver" automatic laser receiver that mounts on the dipper stick for a seamless, automatic height reference.
The Laser Receiver is ideal for basements, trenches, foundations, septic tanks and similar work. Move it from your excavator to a bulldozer or scraper and level a large field or parking lot without leaving the cab!
